Is the convenience fee taken out of my menu price?
No. The convenience fee is added on top of your menu price — the parent pays it, not you. If your shave ice is $3.75, the parent pays $4.75 (founding) or $5.25 (standard). You receive your full $3.75. Stripe processing fees come out of the convenience fee, not your payout.
What does the onboarding fee actually cover?
The $149 (founding) or $199 (standard) one-time fee gets you a fully branded vendor portal, your own event link, teacher-grouped order dashboard, CSV export, print views, and Stripe Connect setup. After that, zero monthly fees — ever.
Can I use ScoopPass for treats other than shave ice?
Yes. ScoopPass works year-round for shave ice, hot cocoa, hot cider, bakery boxes, cinnamon rolls, cookie boxes, caramel apples — any treat you sell at school or community events.
How does the money get to me?
Payments deposit directly into your connected Stripe account. ScoopPass never holds your money. Standard Stripe payout schedule applies (typically 2 business days).
What if I have a slow month? Will I still get charged?
No. There are no monthly fees, ever. You only pay the one-time onboarding fee. After that, the only ScoopPass cost is the per-order convenience fee — and the parent pays that, not you.
Is the founding rate really locked for life?
Yes. If you sign up as a founding vendor, your $1.00 per-order convenience fee is locked for as long as you use ScoopPass. We will not raise it on founding vendors. Standard pricing applies only after founding spots are full.
